Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-05-13T22:24Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-05-13T22:24:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
GAP: Data gap
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
Source Signature Keyword:
PEA: Post eruption arcade
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
DIM: Dimming
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: This CME is observed to the W/NW in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and GOES CCOR-1, and to the NW in STEREO A COR2 imagery (following a data gap from 2026-05-13T14:53Z to 2026-05-14T01:53Z). It is fairly faint in STEREO A COR2 imagery and appears much wider in STEREO A COR2 frames. There are multiple fronts associated with this CME as well as a numerous outflows following the CME. The source appears to be beyond the western limb of the Earth-facing disk based on SDO/AIA, GOES SUVI, and STEREO A EUVI imagery. Based on STEREO A EUVI 304 and 195, it is possible the source is a filament eruption between former AR 14432 (~N14W95-W100) and AR 14435 (~N23W53-W58) with visible dimming and brightening signatures as well as post-eruptive arcades starting following the data gap around 2026-05-14T02:15Z. The source is also observed as slow, wide opening field lines in GOES SUVI 171/195/284 starting as early as 2026-05-13T19:00Z.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
